The sophomore beat Armstrong’s Nicole Snezhko in a rematch of last year’s final, won by Snezhko. Adkins took this year’s championship 6-2, 6-3. Both players advanced to the state tournament, which is next week.

Winning singles matches for the Crimson were: freshman Zoe Adkins (6-0) (6-0), senior Victoria Epshteyn (6-0) (6-0), senior Maria Shoults (1-6) (6-3) (6-2) and junior Emily Carlson (3-6) (6-3) (7).
