Winning singles matches for the Crimson were: freshman Zoe Adkins (6-0) (6-0), senior Victoria Epshteyn (6-0) (6-0), senior Maria Shoults (1-6) (6-3) (6-2) and junior Emily Carlson (3-6) (6-3) (7). Winning a doubles match for the Crimson were: sophomore Grace Bakke and junior Maddie Ross (6-1) (6-2).

Girls Tennis: Best Osseo 5-2, fall to Elk River 3-4

Maple Grove defeated Osseo 5-2 on Wednesday at Osseo. Winning singles matches for the Crimson were: freshman Zoe Adkins (6-0) (6-0), and sophomore Grace Bakke (6-0) (6-1). The girls varsity tennis team battled metro powerhouse Breck and suffered a tough 3-4 loss on Friday. Bright spots for the Crimson were singles winner freshman Zoe Adkins (6-0) (6-0) (above), doubles winners senior Victoria Epshteyn and senior Maria Shoults (below), and singles victor sophomore Grace Bakke.

  The girls varsity tennis team battled Northwest Suburban Conference foes Centennial and Armstrong last week, splitting the matches. On Wednesday the gals suffered a tough loss to Armstrong 3-4. Bright spots for the Crimson were winners: senior Victoria Epshteyn (6-2) (6-2), senior Maria Shoults (6-4) (6-4), and sophomore Grace Bakke (6-3) (6-2). On Thursday Maple Grove narrowly defeated Centennial, 4-3. Winning matches for the Crimson were: freshman Zoe Adkins (6-0)
