Cross Country State Results: Iverson finishes 32nd; Girls in 16th

Senior captain Blake Iverson finished 32nd of 176 runners to lead the three Crimson boys state qualifiers with a time of 16:13 in the 5000M race. Sophomore CJ Young (43rd) notched a 16:36 and sophomore Patrick McLean (52nd) finished at 16:45. The Maple Grove Girl’s Cross Country team finished the regular season with some strong performances this week. Boys XC: Gifford named State Coach of the Year

Maple Grove boys’ cross country running head coach Matt Gifford was recently named Class AA Coach of the Year by the Minnesota High School Cross Country Coaches Association.
