Christopher Frantz’s goal in the 56th minute was all Maple Grove needed for a 1-0 victory over Centennial Wednesday evening in a match between Northwest Suburban Conference rivals at Centennial High School.
Frantz picked up midfielder Max Bartee’s pass just outside the box and quickly gained a stride on his Centennial defender. Frantz’s quick touch put the ball past Centennial goalkeeper Isaac Verke and into the back right corner of the net.
