Boys Varsity Soccer · Boys Soccer: Crimson go 1-2 last week

The Maple Grove boys’ soccer team finished a busy week of soccer with one win and two losses, bringing its record to 8-3-1 and leaving them tied for second with three other teams in the North Suburban conference. Totino Grace sits on top with a 10-0 record.

The Crimson kicked off the week away at Anoka on Tuesday with a frustrating 2-4 loss. A scoreless first half did not reflect the many shots on goal, especially coming from Maple Grove. The Tornadoes got on the scoreboard twice before the Crimson answered back on a goal from senior co-captain Jack Gleckler from just outside the box on an assist from junior Will Zaver
