Ryan Hanscome and Brad Davison scored fourth-quarter touchdowns, but Maple Grove came up shy of Eden Prairie again, 28-15.
Last season, the Crimson football team fell a TD shy of the Eagles in Eden Prairie 28-20. Maple Grove had a to climb out of a 28-3 hole this time around Friday, Sept. 23.
“I don’t know if we came in as prepared as we should have been,” Davison said.
After mustering three points through the first three quarters, Davison opened the final quarter on a 10-yard TD run. The Crimson senior quarterback rushed for 63 yards on 15 carries in addition for throwing for 158 yards on 12-22 passing.
