Boys Basketball: Fall in consolation play (VIDEO)

Video courtesy of CCX Sports The Maple Grove boys basketball fell 77-74 to Eden Prairie in consolation play at the state tournament. The Crimson blitzed the Eagles early, shooting and making three-pointers in the opening minutes. Maple Grove jumped out to leads of 15-1 and 26-9 before the Eagles started to get back in it.

Adapted Floor Hockey: CI and PI teams win State Consolation titles!

The Crimson Adapted CI (above left) & PI teams (above right) are are both State Consolation Champs! The CI team defeated White Bear Lake 11-7, while the PI defeated Anoka-Hennipen 10-4. Congratulations athletes and coaches! Mohammed Konnah had 14 goals in the tournament, setting a new team record for career goals with 148.

Boys Basketball: State Ticket and Game Info

Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Team who advanced to State for the fourth year in a row! They are unseeded and will play #1 seed Park Center on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. We will be pre-selling game tickets ($10 for students) Monday and Tuesday in the cafeteria concession stand during lunch, and fan bus tickets ($5) will be available via FeePay.

Crimson Robotics: Earn Team and Individual awards at Regional Competiton

Video courtesy of CCX Sports The Maple Grove boys basketball team advanced in section play. The Crimson beat St. Michael-Albertville 65-48 in the Section 8AAAA semifinals. The game was moved up one day to Friday in advance of Saturday’s snowstorm. Nate Adams had 17 points, Kyle Dreyer 16, and Jared Rainey 15 for the Crimson.
